Melbourne Symphonic Winds is seeking members interested in making a commitment to

• Series of focused rehearsals leading up to the 2025 Australian National Championships from 1-4pm at Camberwell Highschool

  • 2nd February

  • 2nd March

  • 16th March

  • 30th March

  • 6th April (TBC - likely combined pre-Nationals concert with Southern Area Concert Band at Firbank High School)

  • 13th April

• Compete in the Australian National Championships as an Open Premier (A Grade) Concert Band in Melbourne in 2025 on the 19th April, 2025

• Continuing seasonal rehearsals and projects for future competitions, workshops, eisteddfods or other opportunities that will be available to the band.

• The MSW is a non-profit community organisation and members will be required to pay a small fee to cover the costs incurred in preparation and performance.

• Our musical committee is working hard on repertoire selection from a wonderful variety of Grade 5/6 works. We would love to hear what you would like to play!

• We suggest newer players should feel confident at an AMEB Grade 6 standard. For more experienced players, we value not only your musicianship, but equally your mentorship, friendship, and passion for bringing the joy of music to everyone through community banding.
